Following the recent announcement of the release date for Switch at the Nintendo Japanese Direct, Blue Backpack is excited to announce the release date for PlayStation and Xbox of their acclaimed 2D hand-drawn metroidvania, Constance. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 1st, the same day it releases for Nintendo Switch.
Constance has been hailed as one of the best in the genre and was compared to titles like Hollow Knight and Celeste upon its release on PC in December 2025. Now console fans can experience the metroidvania exploration, fluid platforming, and engaging combat experience for themselves on May 1st.
