Phantom Blade Zero will not be released on September 9, 2026, as previously planned. The development studio S-GAME has confirmed that the new release date is October 29, 2026.
The action RPG will be available for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders will open during the summer, and the studio also announces a more detailed showcase of gameplay and story.
According to a message from the studio director, the additional time will be used to refine character models, rework numerous environments, and polish the game. S-GAME states that some improvements could be saved for later updates, but they want players to receive the highest quality release on day one.
Phantom Blade Zero is expected to receive a new trailer with new gameplay footage during the summer, followed by a special State of Play dedicated to combat, exploration, character progression, and the game world.
