Mistfall Hunter is set to release on July 29, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Bellring Games and Skystone Games are preparing an extraction-action game where players enter Gyldenmist as Gyldhunters, warriors who hunt the corroded horrors hidden in the fog. The game can be played solo or in teams of three players, with class selection and the goal of surviving long enough for a successful exit from the dangerous zone.
The previously released trailer emphasizes the Withered Knight, a new class built around a large two-handed sword, marking opponents, and detonating sigils at the right moment. Once a Rose Knight from the kingdom of Gaenaria, he is now an exile with worn armor and a broken honor, but still adheres to the chivalric code. In battle, he utilizes long weapon reach, precise positioning, and patiently reading his opponents.
The Withered Knight is not designed solely as a direct damage class. His fighting style is based on setting up Withering Sigils, detonating them through Reckoning, precise parrying, and the skill Thorn Guide, which allows him to draw enemies into a favorable position. This gives him an important role in battlefield control, breaking formations, and setting up opponents for the rest of the team.
The Withered Knight joins the existing roster of classes, which includes Mercenary, Sorcerer, Blackarrow, Shadowstrix, and Seer. In team play, he is expected to take on the role of a class that sets the pace of combat, slows down opponents, and opens up space for finishing attacks.
