Video game industry legend John Romero dismissed the news that his studio was closed Romero Games. Last week there have been several layoffs due to the loss of the partnership with Bethesda which is on order Microsoft had to cut finances.
In yesterday's post on To X, Romero has been updated by the fan with information about the current status. As he said, the project was canceled due to the cessation of funding and that they are doing everything in their power to restructure within the studio and that they have been contacted by several publishers who are interested in helping the project see the light of day.
State Romero's games is not completely known, and its development has begun in 2022.
