Criminal Case games are part of the series published by Pretty Simple and consist of 7 installments; I will be writing here about the first part called Grimsborough. This game falls under the category of puzzles and mysteries where we have to unlock new cases and in doing so, we discover an interesting story and characters.

The mechanics are quite simple; we have an energy bar that shows us how much energy we have, and if it's empty, we have to wait a few hours for it to refill. However, the main gameplay involves solving murders by searching for various items on the screen and then sending them to other characters who solve mysteries in their own way, with quite a bit of humor.

The main goal is to unlock new locations around the city, and each new location has a different style, types of mysteries, and thus a main theme that follows that district. The characters in the story are also quite important as they are well integrated into the narrative and often amuse us, sometimes surprising us with their characterization.

The main advantages of this mobile title are the fun gameplay, well-crafted story and characters, greater depth than you might expect from a mobile game, and the fact that it makes you want to play for hours. However, of course, there are some downsides, such as the energy bar that takes a few hours to fully recharge, but we can speed that up by spending money to make time pass faster. There are also some side quests that are a bit boring and serve only to fill the gameplay time.

I consider Criminal Case to be a fun and quite immersive game, and I believe that if you enjoy games about mysteries and crimes, you will enjoy it for hours.
