The indie scene is once again bringing several interesting announcements, and this time the focus is on three completely different games targeting the PC audience. Grilluminati, Kiss or Kill, and The Dark West combine cooperative chaos, psychological thriller, and action RPG in dark worlds that already seem like material for a Steam wishlist.
Grilluminati is a new cooperative game from the Belgian studios Anaxanthia and Godspear Games, where up to four players run an apparently ordinary grill restaurant while hiding a dangerous cult in the background.
The task is to serve guests, isolate victims, perform rituals, cover up traces, and ensure that suspicion does not spiral out of control. Each successful victim brings the deity closer to entering the real world, but any mistake can turn the restaurant into a chaotic place of panic, blood, and revelation. The game has been announced for PC, the release date has not yet been revealed, and the Steam page is already available.
Kiss or Kill comes from Framling Studio and Erabit and brings a mix of visual novel, dating reality show, and death game thriller.
Players take on the role of Valen, a programmer trapped in an AI simulation of a romantic show, where 200 participants must survive a seven-day experiment. During the day, dangerous romantic tasks are carried out, and at night the truth behind the simulation is explored. If the Heartflutter Rating drops too low, the contestant is publicly executed. The game offers multiple routes and endings, six romantic characters, including one hidden route, and the AI host Doki who oversees everything with a creepily sweet presentation. The Steam page and the first trailer are now available.
The third game is The Dark West, an action RPG from Black Hand studio that brings a cursed Wild West full of haunted outlaws, monsters, witchcraft, and dark magic. The new teaser trailer shows a gunslinger breaking through a decaying frontier, while the world around him is slowly consumed by a curse. The game emphasizes brutal combat, character development through equipment and skills, and decisions between bad and worse.
The Dark West is coming to Steam, and interested media and players can follow further information through the official Steam page.
All three games currently target PC, and although they do not have final release dates, they differ enough that each can find its audience: Grilluminati for fans of chaotic co-op, Kiss or Kill for fans of visual novels and psychological horror, and The Dark West for those who want an action RPG in a dirty, cursed western world.
