Cozy strategy game for three players

Flame, Forest & Flood is a cozy strategy game for three players that is coming to Steam in the fall of 2026. The studio was founded by Denis Comtesse and Blaze Zywiczynski, experienced developers with a focus on original mechanics, accessible design, and a love for strategy games.

Flame, Forest & Flood is based on the conflict of three elemental forces: fire, forest, and flood. Players take on the roles of three timeless Elementals: Adeer, the spirit of the Forest, Herr Mitta, the guardian of the Flood, and Blaze, the protector of Fire. Their eternal rivalry turns each match into a tactical battle of wits where victory is determined not by luck, but by positioning, planning, and smart decisions.

The creators emphasize that the rules can be understood in a few minutes, but beneath the simple surface lies enough tactical depth for competitive players. There is no randomness in the game, meaning that every outcome arises from the decisions of the players themselves. Local and online multiplayer is supported, and there is also support for bots, allowing for solo play or more flexible combinations.

Fairy Mount Games brings over ten years of experience with Godot to the project, emphasizing handcrafted development, open-source tools, and a creative process without the use of generative artificial intelligence. According to Blaze Zywiczynski, the goal was to return to the basics of strategy games and find inspiration in classic board games, especially in the struggle for territory.
