Konami, Annapurna Interactive, and the development studio Screen Burn Interactive have confirmed that Silent Hill: Townfall will be released on September 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
This is a new entry in the well-known horror series, and the game follows Simon, who wakes up on the island of St. Amelia with no clear answers about how he ended up there. He has a medical bracelet, an IV bag, and a CRTV device through which strange voices can be heard.
Silent Hill: Townfall emphasizes narrative puzzles, exploration, and survival in a foggy environment. Some encounters with enemies will involve combat, while in other situations, fleeing and hiding will be the only option. The PlayStation 5 version will utilize the capabilities of the DualSense controller, including haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and motion when adjusting the CRTV device.
Pre-orders are already open. The Standard Edition costs €49.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs €59.99 and includes alternate clothing for Simon, a digital art book, a digital mini soundtrack, and 48 hours of early access.
