Microids has introduced Marsupilami 2: Salsa Palombia, a new 2.5D platforming adventure developed by Ocellus Services. The game is set to release on September 3, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and once again centers around the familiar Marsupilamis Twister, Punch, and Hope. This time, Palombia has been affected by an unusual melody that causes the animals to dance uncontrollably, and behind it all is Mummy Queen, who has returned from the Land of the Dead with her minions.
Marsupilami 2: Salsa Palombia can be played solo or in local co-op for two players, guiding players through four colorful worlds, from the jungle to a bustling city, featuring platforming challenges, hidden levels, bosses, Battle Dojo challenges, and competitive mini-games. Microids describes the game as a fast-paced family adventure where the three Marsupilamis will have different play styles, with the main goal being to find Mummy Queen's hideout and break her musical curse.
