Log Away, a relaxing cozy simulation of building and decorating spaces, has arrived on GOG. The game is available for Windows 10 and Windows 11, and the GOG edition comes in a DRM-free form, meaning that no activation or constant internet connection is required to play.
In Log Away, players build and decorate their own wooden cabin through peaceful natural environments, including coastal coves, meadows, and mountain landscapes. The emphasis is not on pressure, time limits, or grinding, but on a slower pace, decorating, relaxing, and creating a space that feels personal and cozy.
Players can choose interests that affect items, decorations, and the so-called Keepsake memories that are gradually unlocked. The space can be decorated at one's own pace, placing furniture, lamps, plants, and other details, while additional atmosphere is created by changes in weather, time of day, natural sounds, and acoustic music.
The GOG version is currently available for the price of $8.99, and it is also available with a 10 percent discount from the regular price of $9.99. The discount lasts until June 5, 2026, at 16:00 Central European Time. Log Away supports achievements, cloud saves, controllers, overlay, and single-player gameplay.
It is commendable that the game is translated into multiple languages, including Croatian. Along with the base game, there are also two DLCs available: Log Away - Christmas DLC and Log Away - Easter DLC.
