The cooperative puzzle horror Storebound will exit Early Access on July 16, 2026, confirmed the development studio Embers.
The game is designed for one to three players, and the storyline leads them into a haunted megastore from which they must find an exit before its threats trap them forever. Storebound combines puzzle-solving, exploration, hiding, and communication among players, including proximity voice chat and the use of walkie-talkies.
The current Early Access version includes the first four episodes, with an average duration of three to four hours, depending on the difficulty and speed of puzzle-solving. The creators announce a story divided into episodes, liminal horror in an abandoned retail space, a mental state system, 3D audio, and a random arrangement of items and obstacles for greater replayability.
Storebound will be available for PC via Steam.
