Koei Tecmo has announced Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake with Power-Up Kit for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The game will be released in Japan on January 29, 2026. The price of the console version is 10,780 yen, while the Power-Up Kit can be purchased separately for 4,730 yen.
Updates include the introduction of new systems such as Gems to upgrade abilities and Turning Points, random moments that can completely change the course of the game. Five additional fictitious scenarios, new Traits, improved user interface, more dynamic combat and revised algorithms were also announced. The total number of officers reaches more than 1,000, and there are 55 scenarios.
