Nintendo has officially confirmed the release date of the feature film The Legend of Zelda, which will premiere on March 26, 2027. It is directed by Wes Ball, known for the films Maze Runner, and the producers are Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of the series, and Avi Arad, experienced in video game adaptations such as Uncharted. Although details about the plot have not yet been released, it is expected to introduce favorite characters such as Link and Princess Zelda. The film is part of Nintendo's broader strategy to enter the film industry following the huge success of the film Super Mario Bros. Fans, however, will have to wait another two years for the release.
