Take-Two has once again confirmed the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI and announced that Rockstar Games will launch the marketing campaign during the summer.

Grand Theft Auto VI is still scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The date was again confirmed by Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, ahead of the company's financial report for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026.

Zelnick emphasized that Take-Two does not use analytical calls for marketing announcements, so the game's price will not be revealed during the financial report. This also addressed recent rumors related to a message from the Best Buy affiliate program, which suggested that pre-orders could start as early as this week.

According to Zelnick, Rockstar Games will begin the marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI during the summer, as previously announced. This means that new details, showcases, and concrete information about pre-orders could follow in the period from late June to September.

Grand Theft Auto VI is one of the most anticipated titles of this generation, and the confirmation of the release date so far shows that Rockstar and Take-Two are not backing down from the planned fall timeframe. According to the latest publicly available information, its predecessor Grand Theft Auto V has sold 230 million copies!
