The release planned for November comes with immense pressure and expectations that the gaming industry rarely remembers.

Grand Theft Auto VI is getting closer, and expectations are huge. The game is scheduled to arrive on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, while the PC version has not yet been officially confirmed.

In an interview with Variety, Take-Two Interactive's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, openly spoke about the pressure that comes with such a large project. He admitted that he feels a certain degree of fear before every release, but in the case of GTA VI, that feeling is, as he says, "multiplied a billion times."

He also adds that it is dangerous to think too early that success is already guaranteed, as such an attitude can lead to mistakes. The situation is further challenging due to the legacy that the new game must follow. Its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto V, has sold over 200 million copies and ranks second on the list of best-selling games of all time. For this reason, GTA VI represents not just another major release in the video game industry, but also one of the most anticipated events in the entire entertainment industry in recent years.
