The PC version is not a priority.

Although there has been increasing talk in recent years about the growth of PC and mobile gaming, industry leaders still believe that console gamers are the foundation of the market, especially when it comes to the biggest AAA titles like the upcoming GTA 6.

According to statements from executives at Take-Two Interactive, console players are the "core" audience driving the biggest launches in the industry. This stance is further confirmed by the fact that Grand Theft Auto VI will be available exclusively on newer consoles at launch, with no PC version at release.

This means that many players still using older hardware will have to upgrade, while some PC gamers might even buy a console just for this game.

Industry analysts and publishers are already expecting that GTA 6 will have a huge impact on the market. In addition to the game's sales, a significant increase in console sales is also predicted, which is somewhat contrary to the classic logic where hardware drives software – here, the situation could be reversed.

This scenario further confirms how important franchises like GTA still are for the industry. It is already estimated that 2026 will be a record year for gaming, with revenues potentially exceeding $200 billion, thanks to major titles like GTA 6.

In conclusion, although PC and mobile gaming are growing, it seems that consoles will remain the main platform for blockbuster games for some time. And judging by expectations, GTA 6 could be one of the most important drivers of that dominance in the years to come.
