Xsolla will be one of the sponsors of this year's edition of First Playable Florence 2026, a European gathering aimed at independent developers seeking publishers, investors, and platform partnership opportunities. The event will take place on June 11, 2026, in Florence, and Xsolla will organize two programs focused on specific challenges faced by indie PC studios.
The first program is titled “You Have 5 Minutes — How to Hook a Publisher,” and it will be led by Inês Ramalho, Xsolla's expert in partner growth and publishing strategy. The roundtable will be dedicated to how to clearly present a game to a publisher in a very short time, highlight its main value, and avoid the most common pitch mistakes. The emphasis will be on practical advice for developers who want to have quality conversations with potential partners at the event.
The second lecture, “The End of Paid Acquisition? How PC Games Are Scaling Through Creators & Partnerships,” will address the growing importance of content creators, streamers, YouTubers, and affiliate partners in promoting PC games. Through this session, Xsolla will demonstrate how partnership campaigns can be used as a more sustainable growth model, especially at a time when it is increasingly difficult to rely solely on paid advertising and visibility on Steam.
According to Berkley Egenes, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer at Xsolla, the way PC games reach audiences has significantly changed. Paid advertising still plays a role, but there is an increasing emphasis on the trust that audiences have in creators and media partners. Therefore, Xsolla wants to show developers at FPF 2026 how to build a system that can support the launch of new games, live service titles, and expansion into international markets.
Developers participating in First Playable Florence 2026 will have the opportunity to meet with Xsolla's team on June 11 and learn more about the Xsolla Partner Network and the tools the company offers for publishing, sales, and marketing support.
