Exo Rally Championship

Exo Rally Championship is a racing title from the development studio Exbleative and publisher Future Friends Games. Instead of racing on real tracks, this title takes us to various planets.

The story focuses on our driver who comes to the once-famous Rally team Lindsay that has fallen into obscurity, hoping that we are just what they need to regain their former glory. Before the actual track, we meet the team members who guide us through the basic functions of the game, so we can communicate with them in front of the starting line when we are ready to go, or we can call them to pick us up by plane. While racing through various planets, we will also encounter harsh weather conditions that will make our driving as challenging as possible.

You start the campaign with the weakest vehicle and license, and as you prove yourself more, you will unlock new licenses as well as vehicles.

In addition to the story mode, Exo Rally Championship also offers the possibility of racing online, and if you don't have anyone else who owns this title, opponents, as the game says, can also be found through the official Discord. There are also daily challenges, time trials, free driving, and even the option to create your own tracks and place yourself on the leaderboard.

The gameplay is very easy to master, and a controller is essential if you want the best experience; before the race, you also have the option to inspect your vehicle to check if everything is in order. The driving model is not bad, and the handling is well-designed, but the weather conditions can significantly affect the driving, and even the slightest turn can send your vehicle in another direction. It should also be noted that the soundtrack resembles the cyberpunk genre, specifically the synthwave style.

Exo Rally Championship is also a unique title in the racing genre, as it belongs to a style that we don't often see in the industry; most titles in this genre are always set in a real/fictional version of places on Earth, while we rarely have titles where racing takes place entirely in space.

This title is available on Steam for 24.50 euros, and I believe the price is certainly justified given the amount of content you receive, considering it is a title developed by a smaller studio.
