Xsolla has announced the Xsolla Developer Scholarship Program – Cologne 2026, an initiative aimed at independent and mid-tier developers who face financial barriers in attending major industry events like Gamescom. The program is open to developers from around the world who are at least 18 years old, can travel to Cologne in person, and are working on an unpublished game that is currently in development. To apply, it is necessary to submit a playable prototype, a gameplay video from a real in-engine presentation, and basic information about the studio, team, platforms, project vision, and goals for attending Gamescom.
Selected developers will receive a Gamescom Business 3-Day ticket, four nights in Cologne, access to special Xsolla networking events, introductions to Xsolla's funding, marketing, integration, and customer support teams, as well as additional event materials. Applications are open from July 1 to July 15, 2026, and Xsolla will notify 20 selected applicants on July 27, 2026. Candidates who already have a visa for Germany or do not require a visa are especially encouraged to apply.
