Developer and publisher Dragami Games has announced that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, which was scheduled for release in November 2025, has been delayed "to early 2026". The main reason for the delay is that a multi-region physical release is now planned alongside the digital version, so an adjustment was made so that both versions — digital and physical — arrive at the same time.
Also, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will bring an exclusive “Gun Shooting Mode” in which protagonist Juliet uses a Chainsaw Blaster to shoot hordes of zombies from an over-the-shoulder view, with rail-shooter-style elements and support for mouse-style control using the Joy-Con 2 controller.
From Dragami Games they say: "We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been eagerly awaiting the game and ask for your understanding while we work on the best possible experiences."
