Dragami Games has announced that it has decided to postpone the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP until further notice. The planned release date was March 26, but significant changes have affected the development itself, leading to this decision. Dragami Games also addressed this in a report where they stated:
"Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition was scheduled for release on March 26, 2026. Despite the changes needed for the Nintendo Switch 2 version and the current console, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the release. We apologize for this inconvenience to all the fans who have eagerly awaited the release of this title. We will announce the new date when preparations are nearing completion."
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP first appeared on September 12, 2024, for PC, PlayStation, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch, and in December of the same year, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were released. As of August 12, 2025, sales have reached 300 thousand copies sold.
