It seems that the team from Dragami Games won't need much time to announce the new date for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, after they announced that the game has been postponed until further notice, they decided that the new date will be May 28. They addressed the players with a special apology and showcased special costumes that will come as part of the update after the release.

Dragami Games announced that they have decided to postpone the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP until further notice. The planned release date was March 26, but significant changes affected the development, so a decision had to be made. Dragami Games also addressed in a report where they said:
"Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition was scheduled for release on March 26, 2026. Despite the changes needed for the Nintendo Switch 2 release and the current console, we made the difficult decision to postpone the release. We apologize for this inconvenience to all the fans who have been eagerly waiting for the release of this title. We will announce the new date when preparations are nearing completion."
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP first appeared on September 12, 2024, for PC, PlayStation, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch, and in December of the same year, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were released. As of August 12, 2025, sales reached 300 thousand copies sold.
