Animation studio Supamonks and Dotemu have announced a series adaptation of Absolum. The studio promised to remain true to the spirit of the game, and they were also responsible for the complete style and animations of the game.

"We are excited to make this series, Supamonks have been involved in creating Absolum from the very beginning. Our teams helped shape this universe, and the opportunity to adapt it as a series seemed like a logical and exciting step. This is a unique opportunity to add a new dimension to the world we know," said Supamonks' head Julien Bagnol-Roy.

Head of Dotemu Cyrille Imbert added: "As the first original product in our portfolio, Absolum has received special care at every step of development. Thanks to the game's story, style, and narrative development, we are confident it will be transformed into a great TV series - one that we would watch ourselves. The quality of work and commitment from Supamonks in creating the game's style makes them perfect partners for this project."

More details about the series will be known in the future.

Absolum is coming out on October 9 on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Nintendo Switch.
