EMPULSE, the new team-based first-person shooter from 1047 Games, enters early access on June 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. The price will be €19.99.
This is a 6v6 movement shooter set in the post-apocalyptic streets of Freehold, where speed, verticality, and constant movement are as important as precise shooting. EMPULSE allows players to run on walls back and forth, use a hook for quick repositioning, bounce off Holojump surfaces, and alter the terrain with P.A.I.N.T. bombs.
A special element of combat will be controllable mechs that appear on the map. The team that takes them over gains heavy weaponry, special abilities, and great durability, but opponents can work together to take them down and turn the tide of the match. EMPULSE thus targets an audience that seeks speed, chaos, and constant struggle for space in multiplayer shooters.
