After four full years, Rockstar Games will no longer charge for the upgrade from old consoles to new ones. The upgrade offered 60 fps, better effects, and various other graphical settings that were not possible on previous consoles. The separate version cost 40 euros, and if you already had a copy of the game, the upgrade would only cost you 10 euros.
Somewhere around 230 million copies of GTA V were sold when all consoles are counted, but as they have stopped the online version for PS3 and XBOX 360, they are also preparing for the next period. There are rumors that this is, in a way, preparation for GTA VI.
