The Asian development team BattleBrew Productions and publisher Red Dunes Games have announced a new action-roguelite HellHeart Breaker. Through this partnership, their goal is to combine experience and resources to deliver an exceptional title for players around the world; this dynamic dungeon-crawler roguelite appeared at the Southeast Asian Game Showcase held from June 6, 2026, as part of the Summer Game Fest.
After the success of their previous project (Cuisineer), BattleBrew is preparing players for more action and challenges, as they will find themselves trapped in an underground world from which they need to find an exit. HellHeart Breaker is more than just a hack-and-slash roguelite, as you will also have to go on dates with monster girls who will grant you new abilities, while all those you reject will become boss battles.
Set in an underground based on Asian mythology, you wake up in a forgotten bathroom and become the only inhabitant of the underground Aashraya. With no memory of who you are and marked by a prophecy, you embark on a journey to discover your identity. Explore the rich history of this world and its unique characters, from Princess Nage, the blacksmith Oni, to the Kitsune prostitute.
HellHeart Breaker will teach you new abilities and elements of the gods from various clans, and you may even fall in love with some of them. Each brings their own circumstances and problems, and it’s up to you to decide whether to walk with them in this life or reject their ideals and confront them.
