Zombies do not come in orderly waves, but in chaos that demands a quick reaction.

Operation H.O.P.E. Tower Defense is an upcoming PC game for Steam that combines tower defense and survival approaches in a colorful, comic-stylized world inspired by the aesthetics of the 1980s. The game is developed by Emre Ertekin, a solo developer from Turkey with over ten years of experience in Unity.

The game's storyline is set in a world devastated by a mysterious infection. Humanity has finally found a cure, but the facilities for its production become the main target of the infected. The player takes on the role of a commander who must defend these facilities under increasing pressure, while dialogues and environmental storytelling constantly emphasize that the enemies are not just faceless threats, but people who once had their own lives.

Unlike classic tower defense games that rely on neatly arranged waves of enemies, Operation H.O.P.E. Tower Defense aims to throw the player into sudden and chaotic attacks. Hundreds of enemies will attack simultaneously, making quick decision-making and defense adaptation crucial. The game will be played from a bird's-eye perspective, with defensive systems such as towers, limited-use traps, and special abilities.

Visually, the game relies on a retro comic style, with vibrant colors, clear readability, and a strong personality. Although it has a dark theme, the artistic approach aims to maintain an energetic and striking appearance that should help players navigate quickly during large attacks.

In addition to the basic single-player gameplay, a Rogue Protocol is planned, an infinite rogue lite survival mode focused on replayability. The release is expected during the fourth quarter of 2026.
