From the developer and publisher Bodiroga Pavle comes a food simulator. It is a simulator where we start our business of making and selling food in a street food style from our truck.

At first, the game guides us through a short tutorial where we learn how everything works. The procurement of all necessary ingredients is particularly important because each customer has special requests; as they say, there’s no arguing about tastes :)

We procure ingredients from local street vendors, including vegetables, meat, canned vegetables, various sauces, pastries, and finally bags, because in order to hand over the customer's order, which can be more than one, we need a paper bag, as we cannot serve one by one, especially if there’s another customer waiting impatiently on the side.

The very beginning of the game revolves around hot dogs and french dogs, but later we discover new recipes as we progress through the game, which we also purchase, including hamburgers, crispy fries, various wraps, kebabs, desserts, and secret sauces… etc.
Food is not the only important factor in achieving our success; we can also decorate or paint our truck, as our goal is to gain some recognition on the street and attract more customers to notice our truck.

Kitchen on Wheels
We design menus to attract a multitude of customers; food is what draws them in. There are also other challenges in the game, such as driving through heavy traffic on the streets. Heavy traffic, avoiding various obstacles to arrive on time, because otherwise, customers become impatient and leave.
Upgrading the menu makes it more interesting, as we need more and more ingredients, and these ingredients are prepared before opening the truck, because we must keep in mind that some customers have specific requests about what to put in the bun and what not to… So chopping and preparing vegetables is very important because a customer who does not receive their desired dish lowers our rating, which is not what we want if we aim to become a true street food master.

Above the customer's head, a speech bubble appears showing what they want to order, and as we receive the order, a window opens with the customer's wishes and desired ingredients. The bubble also contains a timer showing how long the customer is willing to wait for their food because if they wait too long, they leave.

Similarly, the order itself can differ from our recipe that we serve; if someone does not like pickles, they will ask for it without them, while another customer will love them and ask for a double portion of pickles. We can also receive multiple orders at once and prepare them simultaneously.

To achieve growth for our street food franchise, it is essential to prepare various dishes, and to unlock new utensils and kitchen appliances that we need, we must also satisfy the critics. To attract critics, the matter is clear: we must cook excellently to raise the rating of our food truck. Each critic is unique, which requires an individual approach, but they all have one thing in common: the plates, i.e., the portions, must be prepared impeccably.

With each successful day, we unlock various upgrades, pass through new neighborhoods of the city, and participate in food festivals.

To make things not so easy, there are other chefs who also want to achieve what we have planned. Influencers also help us, and we need to win them over because we are aware of how much social media influences today's life.

At the end of each day, someone has to clean everything up, so we need to wash the cutting board, the containers holding our chopped vegetables, the knife, and the appliances we have. The leftover vegetables in the containers will spoil by morning, so we throw them in the trash at the end of the day. Every morning, fresh ingredients are there. Without a good and clean kitchen, there is no good work. Hygiene is essential.

We believe there is room to refine a few more elements, to add a bit more music to elevate the atmosphere in the game, to make the achievements feel more significant, and to give us a sense of satisfaction for cooking for it. The graphics are decent, appropriate for the program in which they were made, but the point is not in the graphics but in our future business that reflects our desire for success and how to be the best street chef.

Another example of a game that nicely shows us how much can be done in Unity. The game is a real diversion when you don't feel like engaging in a deep story and need a short break, yet still full of challenges.
