Bandai Namco has announced a new guest fighter for Tekken 8, and it is a character that fits perfectly into the world of brutal martial arts battles. Yujiro Hanma from the Baki series is coming to the game as a DLC character as part of the third season of additional content.
Yujiro Hanma is one of the most recognizable characters from the Baki franchise, known for its extremely exaggerated martial arts duels, extreme physical strength, and characters that often seem created specifically for a crossover with Tekken. His arrival is therefore not a big surprise thematically, but it is certainly one of the more interesting guest announcements for Tekken 8.
According to current information, Yujiro Hanma is expected to become available in early 2027. Bandai Namco also released a teaser trailer with the announcement, but a more detailed showcase of his fighting style, moves, and possible special interactions with existing characters has not yet been revealed.
Tekken 8 is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. With the arrival of Yujiro Hanma, the game continues to expand its roster through DLC content, and fans of fighting games and the Baki series now have another reason to follow the continuation of the third season.
