BULKHEAD and Team17 have presented a new gameplay trailer for WARDOGS during the Future Games Show Summer Showcase. This is an upcoming large-scale tactical FPS that will arrive in Steam Early Access this year, and the new trailer offers the clearest look at the game in action so far.
WARDOGS is set around a dangerous Control Zone, where 100 players and three rival teams fight for dominance on the battlefield. The game combines tactical shooting, vehicle and infantry combat, building, destruction, and large-scale teamwork, with a system where coordination and risk can yield great rewards.
The release of the new trailer comes after WARDOGS surpassed 500,000 additions to the wishlist on Steam. BULKHEAD has also opened applications for the next playtest, following recent tests where players had the opportunity to try out the systems, combat, and chaotic situations that form the core of the game.
The studio emphasizes that playtests are not just a promotional part of the campaign, but an important part of the game's development. Player feedback is used to test systems, identify issues, and shape WARDOGS into a large-scale warfare experience aimed at an audience eager for a different approach to the genre.
WARDOGS will be released in Steam Early Access this year, and the game can already be added to the wishlist.
