The mobile version of the football game UFL is now available to players in most parts of the world, marking the project's entry into the second phase of its "soft launch" model. After success on consoles and PC, the development studio Strikerz Inc. is now expanding the franchise to mobile platforms, with the ambition to bring AAA-quality football simulation experience to smartphones.
The mobile version of the game offers a tailored experience for players on phones, including simpler controls, shorter matches, and faster onboarding, while maintaining the competitive identity that UFL emphasizes as the foundation of the game. Players are allowed to create their own football club, collect and upgrade players of various rarities, as well as participate in progression systems, special events, and rewards.
UFL on mobile includes multiple gameplay modes, including PvE career, PvP matches, training, and a 4v4 multiplayer mode where four real players simultaneously control individual footballers during fast-paced team matches. Special emphasis is also placed on licensed content, with real footballers appearing in the game through a partnership with FIFPRO, while collaboration with adidas brings the official Trionda ball, equipment, and themed stadium content.
The ambassadors of the project are footballers Federico Valverde and Raphinha, with Raphinha guiding players through their first steps in the game and introducing them to the basic mechanics during the initial progression.
One of the first major events in the game will be the Open Tournament, a time-limited competition where players will assemble teams, progress through tournament phases, and win rewards and additional content. Strikerz Inc. states that the mobile release is just the beginning of a broader development plan, and they will continue to gather community feedback and prepare new content throughout 2026.
