PlayStation 5 reached a total of 84.2 million units shipped from the start of sales to the end of the period ending September 30, 2025, according to Sony Interactive Entertainment.
During that quarter, 3.9 million consoles were shipped, an increase of 0.1 million compared to the same period last year. In addition, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games combined sold 80.3 million units in the quarter, of which 6.3 million were first-party titles. It is worth mentioning Ghost of Yotei which sold more than 3.3 million copies in just 32 days of its release.
