After skipping one of the biggest, if not the biggest, video game trade shows in the world last year, Nintendo has confirmed its return to Gamescom 2025, which will take place in Cologne from August 20-24, 2025. This news comes just two months after the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, meaning visitors will have the chance to try out the new console and its games first-hand.
Nintendo announced the news via its German social networks, noting that it is looking forward to meeting fans and presenting its latest products. The show is expected to showcase hit titles like Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza and other games that will mark the early months of the Switch 2 console.
Gamescom 2025 kicks off with a Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation by Geoff Keighley on August 19, 2025, and Nintendo will have its own booth at the show where visitors can try out the latest games and technologies
