Warner Bros. plans to expand video games related to the Harry Potter world, building on the success of the video game Hogwarts Legacy, which sold more than 30 million copies and became the best-selling game of 2023. In addition, they released Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and a remastered version of the "Lego Harry Potter" games and licensed several mobile games.
A sequel to Hogwarts Legacy is currently in the works, which is a priority for Warner Bros. Discovery. There are also plans to connect the stories from the future HBO series with the games to create a unique experience for fans of different generations.
