Famous journalist Jeff Grubb started a rumor that a new one is coming this year God of War. According to him, it is about Greek God of War which is not a remaster of older titles but a completely new story. He also said that it's a side project, meaning it's not a bigger game or a sequel, but something smaller in style Uncharted: The Lost Legacy which came out with Uncharted 4.
Sony celebrated last weekend 20th anniversary of the release of the first God of War game, but unfortunately they didn't announce anything bigger for the future. The only question that remains is whether they might be planning a special edition State of Playa to surprise fans.
