Hyperkin, the global leader in gaming hardware, has announced that their long-awaited premium controller The Competitor is available for pre-order.

Expected to begin shipping on October 29, 2025, the controller opens a new chapter for Hyperkin. It is officially licensed for Xbox, is also compatible with PC, and is ideal for streaming via the Game Pass service on supported smart devices.

First introduced in January 2025, The Competitor brings the popular symmetrical analog stick design to Xbox gamers, along with a host of advanced features that elevate the gaming experience. The controller features a segmented D-Pad for precise inputs, action keys with a durable membrane, and dual Hall-Effect analog sticks that eliminate the stick-drift problem. Additionally, interchangeable domed and recessed club tips are available, while metal rings and anti-friction housings ensure durability and premium feel.

The triggers are also equipped with Hall-Effect modules, and comfort is further emphasized by a sweat-resistant, laser-textured grip. Two programmable rear buttons with a locking option allow for additional control, while ultra-low latency guarantees precision and quick reactions. Built-in Mic-Mute and 3.5 mm headphone jack ensure clear communication during the game.

"The Competitor is our most exciting product of the year and we believe it will take the gaming experience to a new level," said Slade Dude Suzuki, Chief Development Engineer at Hyperkin.

The controller is available for pre-order at $49.99 / €49.99 / £39.99 and will launch in four colors: white and black (NA/UK/EU/AU), while blue and gold will be available in UK/EU/AU regions (NA release TBD).
