HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail will receive a major update version 4.3 titled The Lethe Below the Living on June 1, 2026. The new version continues the story of Planarcadia, focusing on the Trailblazer, Mortenax Blade, and the secrets hidden within the World in Canvas area.
At the heart of the story is the conclusion of Blade's long-standing fate, connected to the threat of Lord Ravager Asat Pramada and the seal of Aeon Voracity. The Trailblazer will head to Inkford Hermitage in the new chapter to warn Graphia, an important figure known as the Mother of Imagenesis, whose role could raise new questions about the Murata family, Phantasmoon Games, and the mysteries related to Himeko.
Version 4.3 also introduces a new character, Mortenax Blade, a Fire-Type fighter with five stars who follows the Path of Nihility. In battle, he uses a special Bounded Field, enhanced states, and new attacks that increase damage against opponents and gather special Charge through ally attacks.
With his arrival, the Gift of Tempered Blade event will also be active, where players can claim a new Trailblaze Outfit piece called Karmic Fire of the Distant Shore for free after obtaining Mortenax Blade. The first half of the Warp brings back Yao Guang, while Cyrene and Phainon will return in the second half.
Among the new activities, Wispae Amusement Park stands out, an event where the Trailblazer takes on the role of the main planner and designs an amusement park in the World in Canvas. In three challenging modes, Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow, a new Starward Mode arrives where players will assemble three teams for three different phases. Complete content clearing brings an additional 300 Stellar Jades.
HoYoverse has also announced a collaboration with UGREEN, which will include special merchandise and online and offline events in multiple regions. This summer, the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration returns, with new content planned for July 24, 2026. Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka have been revealed, and players will be able to obtain Gilgamesh or Archer for free by logging into the game during the collaboration.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently available on PlayStation 5, PC via the official client and Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android.
