S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is getting its first major expansion called Cost of Hope, arriving in the summer of 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
This major DLC brings a new story that runs parallel to the main campaign, with players once again taking on the role of protagonist Skif. The decisions will have a significant impact on the development of events and the fate of the Zone.
Cost of Hope introduces two new regions – Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and Iron Forest – along with new quests, characters, weapons and equipment. The expansion offers tens of hours of additional content and represents the middle chapter of the new "second trilogy" within the series.
