This year's Xbox Games Showcase presented a new game from the cult post-apocalyptic franchise Metro. Titled Metro 2039, the game also received its first trailer.
The story takes place several years after the events of the game Metro: Last Light, and players will follow a new main protagonist. The atmosphere remains true to the series, with underground tunnels, dangerous mutants, and a constant struggle for survival in the ruins of a post-nuclear world.
Metro 2039 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a release scheduled for February 2027.
