We bring you some news from the world of video games that Virus.hr has not covered so far, and that are worth noting!

Disruptive Games has confirmed that Wreck Runners, in addition to the previously announced PC version, will also be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It is a cooperative multiplayer loot collection and extraction game set in the Bermuda Triangle. Players will work for the not-so-suspicious corporation Trustwell, which sends them on a quest for valuable waste, treasure, and resources. Each expedition takes place with the ORCA vehicle, which can move on land and water, while the special tool Scrapjack is used to capture and extract loot from inaccessible places. Of course, there are also dangerous fogs, strange creatures, and increasing chaos that could ruin players' perfectly profitable workday. Wreck Runners is set to release on July 16, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

SNK is bringing NINJA MASTER’S back to Steam through its NEOGEO Premium Selection line. This is a 2D fighting game from 1996, set in a fictional version of feudal Japan, where twelve warriors fight for supremacy. The game's uniqueness lies in the ability to switch between armed and unarmed combat during matches. The new release features online rollback netcode, a Practice Mode for practicing combos, a Time Attack Mode, online lobbies for up to nine players, and tournament options with various competition formats. Players will also be able to unlock special icons through achievements, and the price will be €19.99.

Saber Interactive has released a free Limitless Strain update for World War Z. The update brings seven new daily challenges for Horde Mode, six mutators, three new unlock frames, seven additional weapon perks, and new support for Xbox Play Anywhere. This means that owners of the digital Microsoft Store version can now play on Xbox and PC without additional purchase, along with save transfer, progress, and achievements. Among the new mutators are Lethal Fumes, where a Booster infects nearby zombies upon death, Still Alive, where zombies only fall from headshots, Power Cut, which shuts down electrical grids during waves, and Copycat, which leaves only one type of special zombie in a wave. Along with the free content, there are also two new paid weapon skin packs available for €4.99 each.

Arc System Works has announced the ARC SYSTEM WORKS Showcase 2026. The presentation will take place on June 24, 2026, at 11:00 PM Central European Time, and is expected to bring the latest information about the games that Arc System Works is developing and publishing. The broadcast will be available via the company's official YouTube channel.

Owlcat Games has provided more details about the closed beta of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, available to owners of the Founder’s Pack edition on PC. The beta includes the entire first act, around 20 hours of content, investigations, combat encounters, and companion recruitment in the Scintilla sector. The game particularly emphasizes the investigative system, evidence collection, witness conversations, and decision-making that may not necessarily serve the truth but the interests of the Inquisition. Dark Heresy also features ten companions, battles with additional objectives, and a new morale system. Instead of merely clearing battlefields, players will need to rescue hostages, capture live targets, or close warp rifts before they spread in some missions. Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy is planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Petunia’s Purgatory is coming out on July 16, 2026, on Steam. It is an unusual, creepy-sweet farming game that takes place at the bottom of the screen, while the player can simultaneously do something else on the computer. Players grow haunted crops, sacrifice little animals for blood, summon helpers, and try to keep Petunia's mental state under control. If things get out of hand, the game starts to "creep" onto the desktop, adding an extra dose of strange humor and discomfort to the whole concept.

SEGA and Two Point Studios have announced Two Point Hospital: Full Health Collection for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. This edition includes the base game and all additional content, meaning console players should finally get the most complete version of the popular hospital simulation. The release date has not been announced yet.
