Nintendo Switch 2 continues to expand its catalog with ports that clearly show that the new Nintendo console is also targeting an audience looking for larger third-party games. After years in which the original Nintendo Switch often received late or technically modest versions, the new wave of announcements and releases seems significantly more ambitious. N-zone #3 therefore brings an overview of several ports that are already available or arriving during 2026.

SnowRunner is already available for Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo eShop for $39.99, and owners of the digital version for the original Nintendo Switch can upgrade the game at no additional charge. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive bring the well-known off-road simulation with extreme terrains, mud, snow, frozen lakes, and massive vehicles in this new version. The game includes over 50 maps and more than 100 trucks, with solo play and cooperative play for up to four players. Cross-play with supported platforms is expected to arrive a few weeks after launch, along with the arrival of Season 18 on Nintendo Switch 2.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is also already available for Nintendo Switch 2. Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have released the game on the Nintendo eShop for $26.99 with an introductory discount until June 23, 2026, after which the price will rise to $29.99. This edition brings Lara's expedition through Siberia, the search for the lost city of Kitezh, and the conflict with the Trinity organization. The package includes all content from the Season Pass, additional episodes, modes, outfits, weapons, and other bonuses, making it a complete edition of one of the better modern Tomb Raider games.

DayZ Cool Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 during 2026. Bohemia Interactive brings an open multiplayer survival sandbox in a post-apocalyptic world, where the experience does not rely on strictly scripted events, but on player encounters, survival, and unpredictable situations. DayZ is already available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and the Switch 2 version could be particularly interesting due to portable gameplay, provided that performance and online infrastructure are stable enough.

Observer: System Redux will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 18, 2026. Bloober Team brings a first-person cyberpunk horror detective game set in a dark future where the investigation also relies on entering the minds of other people. Pre-orders are available on the Nintendo eShop at a discounted price of $29.99, while after July 7, 2026, the price will be $39.99. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will also support mouse functionality of the Joy-Con 2 controllers and optional motion controls.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 during the holiday season of 2026. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive bring a third-person action game where players fight against hordes of enemies as Lieutenant Demetrian Titus. The game supports solo play, cooperative play for three players, as well as additional PvE and PvP modes. Given the large number of enemies on screen and the intense action, this will be one of the more interesting tests of the capabilities of the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
