The independent studio Collision Games and publisher Blue Brain Games have announced Expendabots, a frantic cooperative horror extraction game for four players, following its world premiere at the Future Games Show: Summer Showcase.
Expendabots throws players onto constantly changing islands filled with dangers, mysteries, and rewards. You and your friends must explore, gather equipment, and survive. Run when you can, hide when you must, loot abandoned objects, and extract with your team before the island is lost, taking with you all the relics you manage to find.
Each Expendabot carries a portable 3D printer, a key asset in the field, capable of crafting everything from emergency energy cells to decoys that distract enemies.
Welcome to Custody Zone
In an alternate universe, Custody Zone is a forbidden archipelago cut off from the rest of the world, filled with abandoned objects, unstable machines, and technology that no one fully understands.
To reclaim what has been left there, the Nullshore Consortium corporation sends Expendabots, disposable robotic units built for resource gathering, survival, and extracting valuable relics from places too dangerous for anyone else.
But Custody Zone is far from a dead place. Its machines still follow old commands, objects still guard their secrets, and every expedition of Expendabots brings them closer to what has been left behind.
