Nintendo recently presented new application Hello, Mario!, designed for kids and available for free on iOS devices, Android and Nintendo Switch, as part of a new line of products called My Mario. The application exits August 26, 2025. in Japan, while wider international availability is planned for 2026.
What does the app offer?
Hello, Mario! allows the youngest to react interactively with Mario's face, pulling his mustache, rotating his head or tapping it - and Mario reacts in funny and unexpected ways. Notable inspiration comes from the game's legendary menu Super Mario 64.
Part wider My Mario collections
The application is accompanied by physical products designed for children and parents:
- Wooden cubes in two versions: a simple set (3 pieces: Mario, mushroom, question block) for ¥2980 and a larger set (30 pieces with characters like Luigi, Peach and Yosh) for ¥19,980 , and all the characters have amiibo functionality.
- Cardboard picture book "Hello, Mario!" which encourages shared reading, with interactive pages (e.g. Mario opens his mouth or you turn his face)
- Stop-motion short films names It's Me, Mario!, about one minute long, showing Mario in various emotional reactions and available online for free
- Clothes, plush toys and other products inside are also planned My Mario series
