From May 30 to 31, 2025, Opatija becomes the center of gaming through tournaments, games, exhibitors and top program guests in the Marino Cvetković Sports Hall.
Beautiful Opatija on the northern Adriatic will thus become the center of gaming culture in those days, easily accessible to gamers from all over Croatia and neighboring countries. The premises of the hall will be divided into zones and two stages with a program, which guarantees a dynamic atmosphere during the entire event.
Expo Gamers 2025 offers extremely rich and diverse program for visitors. We highlight the main contents that await you at the fair:
- Gaming zone and e-sport competitions: Try the latest video games on the powerful gaming PCs and consoles and follow or participate in exciting tournaments popular games (League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Tekken 8, EA Sports FC 25, etc.). The most successful players win valuable prizes, and there will certainly be no shortage of tense matches.
- Indie zone - presentation of games by domestic developers: In a special zone of independent video game producers Croatian game developers present their latest titles. You will have the opportunity to meet original games domestic scenes and be the first to try creative projects and talk directly with their creators.
- VR technologies and AR experiences: A dedicated zone awaits you virtual reality where you will be able to immerse yourself in the impressive VR games and demonstrations of the latest technology. Leaders will share their knowledge and experience domestic and foreign gaming industry experts, through conversations about current trends, development challenges and creative processes of game making. This year's Expo Gameri also brings a number of special attractions that will further enrich the visitors' experience. Prize games, giveaways and raffles will be held every day of the fair - which means that the audience will have the opportunity to win valuable gaming prizes on the spot. In the evening, the big gaming quiz "Press Start" awaits you, the largest such pub quiz in Croatia, where all ages can test their knowledge of video games.
Also, the B2B GAMERS event was introduced for the first time – a special business conference for video game industry professionals. It will be held the day before the fair, on May 29, in Opatija, and is intended for game developers and gaming companies who want to network and improve (it is available with a VIP ticket to the fair). In this way, Expo Gameri combines B2C entertainment content for a wider audience with a B2B segment for the industry, which makes it a unique event of its kind in our country. The organizers emphasize that with the fair they want to build the local gaming community, support domestic projects and connect with international partners - and it is precisely this combination of entertainment and industry that achieves this goal.
Expo Gameri 2025 is realized by the marketing agency Riviera and the Association "3. zmaj" from Rijeka, with the support of the City of Opatija, the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian Tourist Board and numerous sponsors. This broad support speaks of the significance that the fair has acquired already after the first year of its holding.
