The fifth and final season of Stranger Things launched this week, and Behaviour Interactive is once again expanding its partnership with the Netflix hit through new content in Dead by Daylight. The studio announced Chapter 2 of the crossover, which is set to arrive in January 2026. The first Stranger Things DLC was released in 2019, bringing the Demogorgon as the Killer and Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington as survivors. The teaser for Chapter 2 features a mysterious figure that fans speculate to be Vecna, the main antagonist of the final season of the series. However, this could create a certain problem, as Dead by Daylight already has a Dungeons & Dragons version of Vecna, known as The Lich. If the new Killer is indeed the Stranger Things Vecna, the game would feature two different variants of the same character. For now, everything is still at the speculation stage, and more information is expected as the release of the chapter approaches.
