The development studio Poncle has revealed that Vampire Survivors will receive a new DLC, which will be released on October 31 on PC, Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation. According to them, Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is the game's largest additional content and will feature an "absolutely ridiculous" amount of content, including 20 new characters, including Belmont, Belnada, and other heroes from the series.
There will also be 40 new weapons, including eight whips, various powers, magical weapons, projectiles, and runes. The new level has been described as the largest map that Vampire Survivors has ever had, along with 30 new music tracks and remixes from Castlevania.
"The characters of Vampire Survivors have come a long way in their honorable hunt and have now joined forces with the Belmont family," says the official description of the DLC. "The sun has set over Dracula's castle, and as the moon rises, the fiery hordes of Mudmen, ghosts, and Fleamen take control in the battle between good and evil."
"Utilize the new arsenal of weapons and leave a mark on your path to free the world from unimaginable terror. Do not be blind to the shadows above you, Survivors, your quest has just begun."
