Epic Games has launched a major crossover event in which legendary Overwatch heroes Tracer, Mercy, Genji, and D.Va have arrived in Fortnite Battle Royale, Zero Build, Reload, and Blitz modes. The collaboration runs from May 14 to June 4 and brings new locations, special abilities, cosmetic items, and exclusive rewards.
Players can now explore recognizable Overwatch locations that have arrived on the Fortnite island, including Busan Sanctuary, Hanamura Courtyard, King's Row Tower, and bases inspired by Watchpoint: Gibraltar. At these locations, players can encounter Tracer and Mercy who provide useful perks, while Genji and D.Va can join your team as NPC allies during the match.
The crossover also introduces new gameplay elements into the loot pool. Tracer's Pulse Pistols allow for first-person gameplay, quick Blink movement, and a Recall ability that rewinds the player a few seconds back. Mercy brings her famous Caduceus Staff that heals teammates through healing beams.
All four heroes are also available as special Fortnite skins and have LEGO styles for Fortnite LEGO modes. Additionally, the Overwatch Porsche Cayenne EV bundle has been introduced, which includes four exclusive decals and special wheels inspired by the crossover.
