Blizzard veteran Bill Petras he died at the age of 54 years old. Petras is a career 24 years long started in in the early 90s as part of the development team GameTech (Ripper, Star Crusader, and BloodNet), the first project for Blizzard he was StarCraft on which he was credited for storyboard, 3D and cinematic art.
Od 1997 to 2005. he was chief art director for World of Warcraft while the game was a global phenomenon, 2005. he left the company and participated in its founding Red 5 Studios (Firefall), in in January 2010 he returned to Blizzard where he worked as chief art director za Overwatch and Overwatch 2.
