According to 24sata, the center of Zagreb will soon receive a new gaming attraction. At the beginning of June, a VR arena called Another World is set to open on Ilica, not far from Ban Jelačić Square, which is part of an international franchise specializing in free-roam multiplayer virtual reality experiences.
Unlike traditional home VR, players do not sit in front of a screen or stand in one place here. They physically move through a designated space while entering virtual worlds through VR goggles, where they complete missions together, fight against opponents, explore environments, or compete against other teams.
As stated by 24sata, the Zagreb arena will span over 230 square meters, with about 140 square meters reserved for the play area itself. Wireless VR technology will be used, and according to their information, it will involve Meta Quest 3S goggles.
Another World offers various scenarios, from zombie apocalypses and space battles to fantasy adventures, PvP shooters, and team missions. Up to ten players could fight in the arena at once, and there is also mention of the possibility of tournaments with teams from other cities. This space is clearly not intended just as another gaming venue for birthday parties.
According to information provided by 24sata, the content is largely aimed at an audience aged 18 to 35, combining gaming, socializing, and group entertainment. The cost of playing is expected to be around 30 euros for an hour of arena use, during which several matches would be played. More details about the opening are expected soon, and Zagreb could gain one of the more interesting new gaming locations in the city at the beginning of summer.
