Misty Whale has introduced Orbyss, a visually stunning and mentally challenging puzzle game that combines strategic thinking and creative problem-solving in a world of light and shadow. The game takes players into a mysterious, bioluminescent universe where the key to success is to think ahead, transition between Orbs, and manipulate time to free the world from encroaching darkness.
In Orbyss, you take on the role of a glowing spark of energy, traveling from Orb to Orb and solving complex puzzles using mechanics like freezing time, controlling drones, and sound puzzles with full accessibility. Inspired by the games Portal and Tron, and featuring music by Pierre Estève (Atlantis series), Orbyss offers over 40 handcrafted puzzles, atmospheric animated scenes, and intense boss battles.
A unique feature of the game is the ability to simultaneously control multiple Orbs, creating a cooperative gameplay effect in a solo experience. Each puzzle has clear, logical solutions, without the need for precise jumps or quick reactions. The demo version of Orbyss is available on Steam, and the full version is coming soon for PC.
